Orthopedic Spine Associates to participate in FDA study for lumbar disc replacement - July 2003
Dr. Scott H. Kitchel of Orthopedic Spine Associates has been selected to participate in a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) study for lumbar disc replacement. Orthopedic Spine Associates is one of only twenty sites in North America chosen to participate in the study. The study's focus is the safety and efficacy of a lumbar disc replacement as compared to lumbar fusion surgery. Dr. Kitchel was selected because of his history of participation in spine-related research and his participation in past FDA studies.
